Quadratic Equation  

Quadratic Equation:

The standard form of quadratic equation is ax²+bx+c=o

 Solve:  3x²+5x+2=0

 Here,

     3x²+5x+2=0

=> 3x²+3x+2x+2=0

=> 3x(x+1)+2(x+1)=0

=> (x+1)(3x+2)=0

Either

    x+1=0

=> x=-1

OR

    3x+2 = 0

=> 3x = -2

=> x = -2/3

The required values of x are

x=-1  and  x=-2/3     Ans.
